About the workshop:
Need clarity? Cut through the mind clutter? Find your way back to yourself or figure out your purpose? Whether it’s for a personal or professional project, ANY time is a good time to start, but start we must.
Bring along yourself and/or an understanding, supportive tribe, bestie, secret-not-so-secret crush, visiting family/friends, soulmate, loved ones and/or twin soul and surprise yourself with the always-unexpected result of a vision board that will reflect that of which you need and want to feel and achieve for a more purpose-filled way forward.
It’s time to treat yourself to a retreat where the focus is on YOU.
It will help you set the tone to achieve the holy grail of vision boarding: a bespoke visual piece that encompasses what you are looking, hoping and/or striving for to do and/or feel.
What you will learn:
STORYHOLDING presents you with the opportunity to tap into the creation of your very own visual journey where you get to dabble in what some artists may call the dark arts of contemporary art, i.e. collage.
Why? Because you’ll be given a free pass to breaking the first barrier of a steadfast rule that’s echoed through most of our lives: NOT to cut up books!
In this retreat, you’ll be ENCOURAGED to do just that! From your chosen “destroyed” pieces, you’ll get to CREATE your very own beautiful vision board – A VISUAL EPIPHANY. Like a phoenix from a flame. Gone with what’s not needed – into the future with only what serves you.
I’ll take you through a step-by-step guide in how to determine your goals, wishes and/or plans through submerging into the deep, intuitive flow of clear thinking by inviting you to exercises in reflecting on what you’ve learned from the past year and the parts you’d like to leave behind or take with you.
In the safe, medicinal space of STORYHOLDING studio, there will be opportunities for optional sharing with like-minded participants in helping you further clarify your intentions.
You’ll be presented with an eclectic collection of a specially curated selection of paper paraphernalia (vintage children’s books, encyclopaedias, National Geographics, calendars from olde, etc) and led through a step-by-step approach.
The deeper we go into the workshop, the more freedom you’ll have, but I’ll be there to gently guide you all along the way, without being invasive.
Welcome to the incomparable thrill of cutting into what you’ve always been told wasn’t allowed, a rebellious thrill that would encourage braveness in creating your true INTENTIONS with CLARITY – the first, necessary step into MANIFESTING them so they become ACTUALISED.
You’ll cut out ONLY the parts that resonate with YOU, that matter and stand out to YOU.
The result will be something that will open a clearer understanding to what encompasses YOUR vision/goal.
Groups are kept small, so it’s intimate, safe and not overwhelming, and light refreshments & French background music will be served.
You’ll be sitting in the dreamiest, light-filled studio on the planet. It’s a healing sort of place… medicinal – a safe space perfect for creating a Vision Board.

Water bottles are highly encouraged. Please make sure they can safely close to avoid spillage on paper materials.Although light refreshments will be provided for sessions that exceed 2hrs, including basic tea/coffee-making facilities, you’re welcome to BYO plate/preferred drink(s) to share.
Any words (poems, lyrics, letters, literature) & photos/prints/paper materials you may wish to incorporate into your art piece. However, the wide, eclectic selection of visual material I’ll provide, will be more than enough if you choose to come as a clean slate (the latter HIGHLY recommended)!
Arrival & other info
Montsalvat’s Opening hours to the public are from Wed – Sundays, 10am-4pm.
If your Collage Session falls WITHIN this timeframe, please announce yourself at Montsalvat Reception where your name will be on the guestlist.
The Receptionist will guide you towards your adventure at STORYHOLDING Poolside Studio.
If your Collage Session falls OUTSIDE this timeframe (i.e. on a Monday/Tuesday or in the evening), an email will be sent upon your booking confirmation for special entrance instructions.

Where is the workshop located?
All workshops are located at Storyholding studio (Montsalvat), 7 Hillcrest Ave, Eltham VIC 3095, Australia.
Cancellations and refunds
If we cancel the workshop: you are entitled to a full refund.
If you can’t attend: you’re welcome to send someone in your place or a refund can be requested 5 days before class starts. Free of charge.
A credit note can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
If you are a no show: you will forfeit your booking and no refund will apply.
Terms and conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Storyholding or organised by Storyholding must agree to the below terms and conditions.
Liability waiver
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Storyholding.
Photo and video
I agree to give Storyholding unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Storyholding classes and events or on Storyholding premises. (For use of Storyholding marketing materials).

To secure your place in a class, course or workshop, full payment at the time of booking is required.
